Denzir The Engine Wrangler

Animation plays. A reinforced engine with one wheel attached putters into motion and haphazardly bounces down a hill away from the party. It spins around in circles before careening into a lake. Denzir stands with his hands on his hips in front of his workshop. His red beard is twined into thin braids held together with metal [[Screw Nuts]].

"I'm sorry we didn't bow to your engine. [[What can we do to help]]?" "[[I will never bow to an engine.]] Plus that engine fell in a lake. Obviously it's too dumb for me to waste time on."

"If you can't bow to an engine you'll never get respect, be it an engine's, or [[mine]]!"

"Well. You can do me one favor. Just last week I saw an engine clambering up Jagged Rock, just outside of town. It was big and mean. Two legs like an iron camel's, and jaws as big as a hippopatomus. I chased that engine til the moon went down and the sun come up. But in the end mi' net weren't big enough, mi' chains weren't strong enough, and mi' bones weren't tough enough." He holds up his hand. His little finger is in a cast. "He broke mi' pinkie." "If you could go wrangle down that big thumper up there on jagged rock we could call it more than fair about mi' old wheel-a-pellar. Maybe I'd even throw ya in [[an engine to boot]]."

"Well I don't want it. An engine's just a damned piece of metal, and you're some old dwarf. We're here to see your [[wares]] and that's all." "Well we don't want it you old dwarf! [[Catch you around the bend.]]"

"Fine, I'll take yer coin. Fool's gold's as good as the real thing when you're in the business of semiconducters. Ye might just have to spend a little more of it." [[(Opens Inventory)]]

[[(Accept Quest: the Engine of Jagged Rock) "Let's do it!"]] "[[No thanks.]] We'd just like to see your wares for now." "No thanks. [[Catch you around the bend.]]" "[[What kind of engine are we talking]]?"

"Much obliged. Take this." (Acquired Item: Engine Wrangler's Net) [[Perhaps ye'd like to take a look at mi' wares in the meantime?]]"

"Alright then." [[(Opens Inventory)]]

(Opens Inventory and Ends Conversation)

[[(Opens Inventory)]] "[[Catch you around the bend.]]"

(End Conversation)

"Look, your first mistake was walking in here without bowing to the machine. When you approach a machine ye' bow. You cross your arms like so." He crosses his arms over his belly. "And then ye' bow." Bowing, his beard trails in a patch of oil. "If you'd just bowed to my wheel-a-peller when you walked in here I wouldn't have to go wrangle that engine out of the [[lake]]."

Denzir squints his eyes and looks you up and down. "Something mean, all mandibles, and death rays, and exploding skull bombs. Or maybe just whatever I have time to put together after [[pulling mi' old wheel-a-peller out of the lake]]."

"I like death rays." [[(Accept Quest: the Engine of Jagged Rock) "Let's do it!"]] "[[Are you saying we're gonna get that old wheel-a-peller?]]"

"All I'm saying is you go take care of that big engine up on jagged rock, and [[I'll have a little surprise waiting for ye' on your successful return.]]"
